Change takes time.   Creating art takes time.  It takes minutes, hours, days, months, and years to create a masterpiece.  It also takes contemplation.   I always feel like I have to be in a hurry to get it done but sometimes it may be better to slow the process down and treasure the creation.  As a woman waits nine months for a child to grow in her, she has the time available to wonder what they will look like and who they will become.  Let's approach our creativity in the same way, with the same wonder, and enjoy the process to its completion.

This is a nice sentiment, and takes an artist's long view of the lasting and profound beauty of the creation. It denies human nature, though, to claim that our lives and dreams don't often force us into the rush of the now, the instant, the "here". I find the rush of creation can be as satisfying as the finishing of it......

Ah the rush of creation! Six days spent creating an amazing vista with one solitary day to spend contemplating the beauty before you.
I love your words. They make me think and see more clearly.
